I’m often asked for opinions on various skincare products. Recently, the intriguing CB Thermal Collection from Cbgardn has cropped up a few times. It has been catching the eye of many people, although the high-end price tag has left them wondering whether or not these impressive-sounding products are worth investing in.
I took a closer look and could immediately see the appeal. As a result, I decided to take a chance on this brand that I hadn’t been previously familiar with. Was this a good idea? Read on as I finally reveal my thoughts on the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection.
What’s the CB Thermal Collection All About?
Cbgardn has a few collections, each one focused on targeting specific visible skin concerns. In the case of the CB Thermal Collection, the main goal is to detoxify, hydrate, and replenish the complexion. While each product can be used individually as part of your existing skincare routine, bring them all together and they promise to give you skin that looks brighter, smoother, and firmer.
What’s Included in the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection?
There are four topical skincare products in the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection, along with a gua sha tool. Here are my thoughts on each product:
The CB Purifying Heating Mask
One way to brighten up the look of your skin is to eliminate toxins and impurities. This is what the CB Purifying Heating Mask aims to do. It’s a clay mask, with clay revered for its oil-absorbing effects. It’s also a thermal mask, meaning that it warms up on your skin. It produces a gentle heat that feels super soothing! Either way, it’s meant to make your pores feel more receptive to the ingredients within.
Does it work? Without a doubt. I’ve used this mask several times now and each time I rinse it off, my skin always looks so much brighter. Few products are able to give me the instant glow that this one always accomplishes. It also leaves my skin feeling unbelievably soft and smooth.
The CB Replenishing Serum
The next product in the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection is the CB Replenishing Serum. This is a very interesting product because it can be used in two ways. Firstly, apply it over the top of the CB Purifying Heating Mask and it will intensify the heating effect of the mask. You can also use it as a standalone serum. I do both!
My initial impressions of this serum were that it feels exceptionally hydrating. Take a look at its ingredient list and you’ll see why. With the likes of sodium hyaluronate, peptides, and glycerin, it’s packed with some of the best hydrating ingredients around.
Over time, it has also helped to make my fine lines look less noticeable. It’s full of antioxidants, from grape stem cells to hawthorn berries to nettle leaf. Most of these weren’t already in my skincare routine and, going by the results, were clearly the ingredients that my skin needed!
The CB Rehydration Cream
I’m always hesitant when trying new moisturizers. Due to my combination skin, it’s very easy for a moisturizer to either dry my skin out or clog up my pores and cause breakouts.
So, I approached the CB Rehydration Cream with great trepidation. Fortunately, it did none of the above. Instead, this cream is like no other that I’ve used. It’s lightweight enough for my oily areas but still provides plenty of hydration and lubrication to my dry patches.
Again, I love the ingredients that Cbgardn has chosen for this cream. Grape stem cells, rose fruit extract, grape seed extract, rosemary extract…there are some pretty potent antioxidants in those botanicals! Vitamins A and E make an appearance too while salicylic acid ensures that this cream doesn’t congest the pores.
The CB Pro-Erase Revitalizing Treatment
Before I started using the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection, I had a few fine lines around my eyes and my mouth. The CB Pro-Erase Revitalizing Treatment promised to immediately make those creases less visible. As a result, I’m not ashamed to admit that this was actually the first product in the CB Thermal Collection that I tried!
Did it work? Incredibly well. Granted, my fine lines weren’t that deep but this solution instantly left my skin looking completely crease-free. Those lined areas were noticeably smoother and also had a more elastic feel to them.
Again, just like with all of the products in the CB Thermal Collection, there are some fantastic ingredients in this solution. Peptides, sodium hyaluronate, vitamins, squalane, and a long list of botanical extracts, many of them organic, make an appearance. If you know your skincare, you’ll be well aware of how these are truly some of the best ingredients around!
The Verdict: Is Cbgardn’s CB Thermal Collection Worth Buying?
As you can tell from my review, I absolutely loved the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection. Each product contains stellar ingredients and, unlike many of the other skincare products out there, these formulas actually deliver on their promises.
Each product in the Cbgardn CB Thermal Collection can be purchased as a standalone. However, they’re also available as a set, although this doesn’t include the CB Pro-Erase Revitalizing Treatment. The set is the more cost-effective option if you’d like to try a few products, but it would be worth adding the treatment solution in too! Before I embarked on this Cbgardn adventure, my skin was starting to look tired and the signs of aging were becoming noticeable. Now, I seem to have turned back the clock on my complexion, so much so that I’ll definitely be adding even more Cbgardn products to my skincare routine in the future.
